Greetings One and All and Welcome to the website for the Beth' Igubu Music Workshops. So far, we have launched this great project on the 24th of October 2009, at the Uptown Theatre in Port Elizabeth. You can read all about that on The Launch page. The Beth' Igubu Music Workshops are the brainchild of Pame Productions, as many are already in the know about this. Starting early next year, Workshops will be introduced around the Eastern Cape for artists, managers, promoters, agents and interested parties that Do see the perks of knowing the industry. Key Players in the Music industry will be travelling along on the workshops to aid and help empower, educate and instill an understanding of the industry and certain consciousness about how the industry is truly run. These workshops will not only offer food for the mind, but also will give YOU the tools to operate functionaly and effectively in the current market. As things stand, the Music Industry is lacking. Sadly, it's not the talent that's at a shortage but, the Discipline, the Kno-How, the Willingness to Learn, the Common Sense to Share amongst artists and the Basic Understanding of what a musician or performer really is. For the most part, an artist or musician is thougt to be purely a vaccuum of creativity, quickly forgeting the economics of everything that sustains the industry and the people in it. With these workshops, YOU will Learn, YOU will Understand, YOU will Apply and YOU will Assimilate all that you apply on a regular basis, because that is exactly what NEEDs to be done.
